A Pheromone To Attract Men

Organisms release chemicals, which help them to communicate with other members of the species, into the environment. A major challenge when researching mammals is that secretions often include hundreds if not thousands of different molecules ( figure 1 ) (e.g. human armpits analysed by Penn et al. 42 ). One strategy to cope with this is illustrated by a study of male goat pheromones: since activity of the male scents was androgen-dependant, Murata et al. 16 looked for the molecules missing in the secretions of castrated male goats to find candidate molecules to test on females ( figure 1 ). Only a systematic bioassay-led approach allowed Murata et al. 16 to identify the main pheromone component, 4-ethyloctanal.

Many of the trusted users consider Chikara Pheromone Cologne as ‘secret weapon of attraction.' This cologne has benefited those who wish to experience the benefits of pheromone powered perfumes at affordable prices. To test the idea in humans, Mujica-Parodi's team collected sweat from volunteers as they jumped out of a plane during a sky dive - a stressful situation if there ever was one - as well as the sweat they produced when running on a treadmill.

By spraying parts of the body that have a higher body temperature, the human pheromones contained in the perfume diffuse into the air when the moisture vaporizes. Some research also suggests that a chemical in male underarm sweat can alter the hormones that regulate women's cycles.

Now, more than 30 years later, McClintock and others in the middle ground are finally making progress in understanding the effects of human pheromones. Sadly there is no evidence for the widely published claims that the molecules androstadienone and estratetraenolare human pheromones of any kind.

As in many previous human odor studies, body odors of women were collected by T-shirts (see Gangestad and do pheromones perfumes work Thornhill, 1998 ; Rikowski and Grammer, 1999 ; Singh and Bronstad, 2001 ; Thornhill and Gangestad, 1999 ; Wedekind and Füri, 1997 ). The unworn white cotton T-shirts were prepared by washing them with nonperfumed soap powder and keeping them in odorless plastic freezing bags after drying.

Women also produce a sex pheromone called copulin in addition to Androsterone. In the literature, there are four compounds that are commonly cited as potential human sexual attractant pheromones, androstenone, androstenol, androstadienone, and estratetraenol.
